All Solicitors Must Register at Village Hall

This is the time of year we see salesman going door to door in Stillman Valley.  All Solicitors must register at Village Hall, wear a name badge identifying themselves and their business and have a permit issued by the Village of Stillman Valley to solicit door to door.   If you don’t want to be bothered with door to door sales please put up a NO SOLICITOR SIGN or don’t answer the door.  If you should come across an aggressive sales person or if you aren’t sure if they have a license, please call the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department’s non-emergency number at (815) 732-2136. If you feel unsafe call 911.
